How to Feel Better: Motion Creates Emotion

How many times have we said:

I don’t feel like it. I’m not in the right mood. I don’t want to do anything. Only if I felt better…

I hear ya. I’ve been there. I’ve done that. I sometimes still do it.

Emotions need to be felt and there is a time and place for feeling upset, low, sloppy, and sad. We need to feel all of these emotions, we need to let it out, we shouldn’t suppress it.

However…

99% of us stay in bad and low-vibe moods not because we need to feel it more, but because we simply can’t be bothered to change it. Feeling better requires effort. It requires us to do something about it - to take action.

Remaining to feel like crap? 0 effort. Just sit on the couch and continue doing what you were doing.
